Telescopic Baton Training

Our 1-2 day seminars (Basic, Advanced) cover the fundamentals and advanced skills in the use of the telescopic baton. The program is designed for law enforcement and security personnel and focuses on safe, effective, and legally compliant use.

• Handle the telescopic baton safely as an operational tool

• Draw, move, and apply the baton in a manner appropriate to the situation

• Use basic defensive, control, striking and thrust techniques

• Prevent disarmament and unauthorized access to the baton

• Recognize operational limits and act within legal boundaries

Theory

• Legal foundations and justification for baton deployment

• Threat-zone categorization and use criteria (e.g., red/yellow/green)

• Technical characteristics and carrying options

Practical

• Safe handling: grip, carry methods, and belt management

• Drawing techniques (concealed and tactical)

• Movement and tactical drills: position changes and distance management

• Basic defense, blocking, striking and control techniques (closed & open)

• CQC measures to prevent disarmament

• Deployment in confined spaces and open environments
